At Digicomm 360, we help businesses communicate by providing the best outsourced telecoms and IT solutions in the North West and beyond. We love nothing more than the challenge of helping our customers improve their business productivity by exploring innovative new ways to work smarter. We work hard – and we play harder.
This year is no exception – we’re ticking one off the bucket list and accepting the challenge of a lifetime to raise much needed funds for our company charity. We’re taking a massive jump and taking a huge leap of faith to join the Lagan’s Foundation Charity Skydive Team.
We’ll be donning our Biggles goggles and preening our moustaches and making our way to Black Knights jump centre at Cockerham in Lancashire in June. For all of us, it will be our first Skydive and it’s fair to say we’re feeling a mixture of both nervous anticipation and excitement.
So, why are three blokes of reasonably sound mind jumping out of a plane?
We’re extremely proud of the town where we all live and work. We’ve always been committed to giving back to the local community through charity fundraising and the support of local good causes, raising thousands of pounds over the years.
As a Bolton-based company, we’ve been raising money for Lagan’s Foundation since it’s launch. In this most challenging of times, charities need more support than ever and so we’ve committed to raise £3600 for this amazing cause.
Lagan’s Foundation was set up by Carren Bell in memory of her daughter Lagan who passed away as a young baby after being born with complex heart defects in 2010.
Lagan’s Foundation aims to physically help support families who have infants and children up to 19 years old, diagnosed with complex health conditions specialising in heart defects and feeding difficulties. Lagan’s Foundation’s purpose is to provide unique at home and in hospital care to support parents in their caring role.
Like many charities, Lagan’s Foundation has taken a huge hit to it’s revenue since the Covid -19 pandemic. We’re delighted to be able to be able to do our bit to boost the much-needed funds to help this amazing organisation help other families in need.
