Digicomm team and special guests danced the night away as VIP’s!

A day to remember at Made in Manchester music festival!

After a non stop 18 months supporting businesses through lock down and throughout the UK, it’s fair to say that, like most of the country, the Digicomm team were ready to let our hair down at the first available opportunity.

On Saturday 4th September we got the chance to do just that – and what an awesome day it was. The team, along with some special guests, attended the Made in Manchester music festival, hosted by Digicomm customer Bolton Arena in an outdoor area.

The festival featured the best Manchester tribute bands with the best local acts and DJs including These Smiths, The Oasis Experience, The Courtbetweeners and Laid. In addition, there was a fun fair, a food court, various bars including a gin garden and festival must-have – a bucket hat stand!

Our special guests were the winners of our prize draw which was open to everyone who donated to our skydive in aid of Lagan’s Foundation.  Kerry Ricketts and James Heyes from Digicomm customers Mortgage Advisors came along and had a fantastic time.

In addition, we had Mark Pollitt, Lisa Miller and Tom Hyde from Digicomm, Grace Grieve from Pink Labrador PR, Sophie Seddon from Big Hand for Business, Paula Pilling from Bolton Whites Hotel and Mick Corrigan from Growth Alliance.

What’s more, our entire party enjoyed VIP tickets, giving us access to an exclusive bar,  a birds eye view of the stage from the balcony, an unlimited supply of snacks from Carrs Pasties and festival essential – posh loos!

The event also offered valuable support to Digicomm company charity, Lagan’s Foundation, which helps families who have children aged up to 19 years old with complex health conditions.

As the afternoon turned to evening, the music cranked up, the glitter was painted on and the glosticks came out as we danced and partied to some 90s disco classics. The evening ended with epic tribute band The Oasis Experience as the arena became alive with an atmosphere that was electric. Seeing groups of families and friends, from toddlers to the older generation having a ball was a sight to behold.

We think we can all agree that the event was a huge success, and we’d like to give our thanks to both the Made in Manchester team and Bolton Arena for putting on such a fantastic day and a great way to celebrate as we move out of lockdown. We can’t wait until next year.

I’ve worked with Digicomm for over 6 years on numerous projects and they now provide IT and Telephony services to Bolton Arena.

Their support staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and go above and beyond to deal with any issues that may arise whether that be remotely or on site.

From upgrading our IT network and associated hardware to the installation of a new telephony system I find Digicomm to be extremely professional in everything they do.
