Bolton Hospice Patron

29 November 2021

We are thrilled to announce that Digicomm360 has taken a significant step in our commitment to community service by becoming a Bolton Hospice Patron. This patronship reflects our deep-seated belief in giving back to the community and supporting those in need. Bolton Hospice’s dedication to providing compassionate care aligns with our values, and we are honoured to contribute to their noble mission. By joining forces, Digicomm360 hopes to make a lasting impact and support Bolton Hospice in its continuous efforts to provide comfort, care, and support to those facing life-limiting illnesses. Together, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

At Digicomm 360, supporting local charities has always been close to our hearts and a huge part of the business. This year more than ever, charities are dependent on the goodwill and donations of both businesses and the public so we knew that we had to dig deep.

Bolton-based Digicomm 360 help businesses across the Northwest and beyond communicate by providing the best outsourced telecoms and IT solutions.

With over 100 years collective expertise, backed up with experience and award wins, the team really understand how effective communications can help an organisation thrive.  Clients include Bolton Arena, Age UK Salford and People Matters HR.

As effective communication is key to everything we do, we were delighted to be asked to be part of the Bolton Hospice Patron scheme and to help to kick start the 2021 Workplace Raise-a-thon which runs from 1st October – 31st December 2021.

Its aim is to bring the Bolton business community together and collectively help the hospice raise £36,000 which will pay for inpatient care for 3 months.  No matter the size, every single donation to Bolton Hospice makes a difference to the lives of its patients and their loved ones.

The hospice needs a staggering £4 million per year to fund their services and this year looks set to be more challenging than ever.

There are three ways that local businesses can get involved. We’re encouraging them to:

  • Donate
  • Fundraise
  • Become a patron

Managing Director, Mark Pollitt said:

“We encourage any local business to get involved with the Patron scheme at Bolton Hospice. The support of corporate sponsors and partners is vital in terms of helping the hospice to keep offering invaluable care and support to so many Bolton families at the most difficult of times.

Bolton Hospice is close to our hearts , and several members of our team have been touched by the fantastic work the hospice does.

Not only do we know that first and foremost, we are supporting a wonderful cause, our patronship also offers us the opportunity to network with other local businesses through special events and unique team building opportunities.  We are really excited about working alongside likeminded organisations to make a real difference.”
